CEHS Winter Food Drive

CEHS Winter Food Drive

The University of Montana's Center for Environmental Health Sciences (CEHS) is hosting a canned food drive to help support the community during the winter season. The food drive will run through the month of February and all donations will go to the Missoula Food Bank.  “Hunger is a year round challenge in our community,” says Dr. Andrij Holian, Center director. “We are excited to be helping a good cause.”

In order to provide multiple drop off options for the community, CEHS partnered with several sponsors at the University of Montana and in the community.  UM sponsors include the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences, the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the School of Social Work, and the Materials Science PhD Program. Missoula community sponsors include Missoula’s Office City and Bolt & Anchor Supply, Inc. who also wanted to support the cause. “We are happy to assist with this community project,” says Tammy Widhalm, Vice President of Bolt & Anchor Supply, Inc.

Drop off locations on campus include the UC Source, Skaggs Building 280/340, and Jeannette Rankin Hall 004. In town drop off locations include Bolt & Anchor Supply, Inc. at 343 Expressway and Missoula’s Office City at 115 W Broadway. CEHS wishes to thank the sponsors and the community for contributing to the Drive.
